Discover San Marino

The capital of the Republic of San Marino is San Marino (Città di San Marino), which is also the country’s namesake. Located on the western slopes of Monte Titano, it is one of the nine historic municipalities, or castelli, within the country. The capital is known for its medieval walled old town and its iconic Three Towers, Guaita, Cesta, and Montale, which have historically protected the city.
